Week 3: Jan 17th

Another week, another photo.

Here's the story....

Just in the last couple days Elliott has found a new pastime. He will deliberately hit something, then point to it and say, "Owiee". Then he leans down (or picks it up) and kisses it all better. Then he waves his hand at it and says, "bye bye owiee. All gone owiee."

So this morning he was repeating this series of events for each one of his cars and trucks that were in a line. Hit, Kiss, Wave, Move that truck to another line, rinse and repeat.

So today's photo is where Elliott got to the kissing part of abusing Lightning McQueen. :)

Week 2: Jan 10th

Well, it has been snowing nonstop for about 36 hours or so. At the time this picture was taken, we were already up to 8 inches of snow. As I'm writing this, I think we've made it to 10 or 10 1/2. Now, I mentioned in the last post that we just moved. At our new house there is a wildlife sanctuary touching our backyard. And our living room has a huge picture window which overlooks out the back of the property. I LOVE watching out the backyard at the wildlife and seeing the snow fall on the gorgeous trees! Here's this week's photo!

Week 1 - Jan 3rd

On the first Saturday of the year I took this gorgeous picture of my son because it was his second birthday! January 3rd, 2007 he was born at 4:33 am. He is such a joy and is *almost* always laughing and smiling! We didn't have much of a celebration that day since we had just moved and things were a bit crazy. A proper celebration will be coming soon! Here is his cute smiling face with his favorite T-shirt on!

Welcome!

Welcome to my Project 52! Don't know what that is? I will be posting a new photo for each of the 52 weeks in a year. They will be photos that represent my life in a nutshell. Probably they will mostly be about my son, Elliott, since he is such a huge part of my family.

I hope you enjoy coming back from time to time to take a peek through my eyes and through my lens!
